The objectives

  •  Different objectives and results are expected which will imply the use of writing, reading, speaking skills necessary to improve key competences, literacy development in order to fight early school leaving and favor social inclusion. We aim at directing these activities at ALL our students. Some will attend short term exchanges, others online activities,  or performances, exhibitions, workshops.

For the sake of clarity, we split the 5 themes in two twinspaces. During 2020/22, we worked on linguistics and environment literacy.

This second year of the project we want at a general level:

-to improve literacy skills in 3 main areas:mathematics, arts and digital subjects

-to improve learning and teaching skills

-to include all our students by offering a wide range of activities no matter what their academic background is and find a way to highlight any skill. Creativity will be our key word to give students the taste and motivation to get involved in activities.

-to keep our students as motivated as possible thanks to innovative and collaborative activities to avoid school early leaving and the pursuit of longer studies.

-to create a bank of school resources available even after the project is finished to enrich our school curriculum.

At our students ' level, we want to fight school demotivation, and develop key competences and literacy skills as they will learn:

    - to develop strategies to be able to read and study various types of material, that contain new ideas and values, unfamiliar vocabulary and syntax,

-to learn to react to the text through discussion, answering questions, writing, -to read increasingly more complex texts.

-to produce their own texts and documents (see next section).

-to learn collaboration, work together under each other supervision and be more receptive to their peers' help in order to develop a sense of inclusion.

-to learn autonomy, organize and plan their work, think about their goals. -develop critical thinking, their ability to analyze, manage information, evaluate their work.

-to teach them open-mindedness, to learn about European cultures and institutions and Europe's history.

    - to motivate them to learn foreign languages and improve their skills.

-to communicate using different ICT tools and the Internet in a safe way.

-to have our students develop their skills in understanding, reading non written documents: visual and artistic works.

-to improve their environment literacy skills, that is to possess the knowledge and skills related to environment issues and be able to take action.

-to improve their mathematics skills and see math is everywhere around them.

At the educators' level, we want them

-to exchange on their practices, improve their methodology, and the quality of their teaching to help students find motivation in school and develop their literacy skills.

-to convince them of the importance of collaborative work, peer learning and project based teaching.

-to learn about new ICT tools.

-to become more familiar with the Erasmus+ possibilities to go further by giving extra training opportunities for staff and students.
