A10_ Day of the Tie

  •  On 18 October, Day of the Tie (Kravata Day) shall be honoured as a symbol of politeness, civilized behaviour. Since the tie is a Croatian invention (the word “kravata” originates from the word “Croat”) and a Croatian national symbol, we intend to present the tie on an international level as one of the symbols of Croatia.

Croatia-On October 18th, we're celebrating The World Cravat Day, the international day of the necktie. Croatia is also known as the birthplace of the cravat. In that honour we have put the largest necktie we were able to find to decorate our school. This event has been a tradition in our school for years and all students including teachers are wearing neckties today.

Italy- The Italian students share the Croatian tradition of the International Necktie Day, wearing a tie as symbol of respectability, politeness and good manners.
