What is meant by collaboration in education?
Simply defined, collaboration takes place when members of an inclusive learning community work together as equals to assist students to succeed in the classroom. This may be in the form of lesson planning with the special needs child in mind, or co-teaching a group or class. (Resource: Google).

One of the most positive findings of the survey is that 84% of teachers agree that eTwinning has had a large or moderate impact on improving relations between teachers and students. Another encouraging finding is that 77% of teachers believe that eTwinning has had a large or moderate impact on building a sense of European citizenship within the school.

One of the findings that emerged during a cross-analysis of the school impact data is that eTwinning has a significantly larger impact in ‘innovative schools’- schools that participate in international projects, cultivate innovative practices, and promote collaboration and self-evaluation among teachers - than it does in non-innovative schools. Teachers working in innovative schools share their eTwinning practices more with other school staff. This is a good practice that eTwinning would like all schools, regardless of how innovative they are, to embrace. (Resource: eTwinning.net)

Please use the space below for publishing any of your videos/pictures and files that gives us an indication on how the cooperation happened between you and any of the partner schools. Also it would be nice to hear from you/your pupils themselves how they liked the International aspect of this project and what benefits it had (if any) on your work in the classroom.

During the month of December pre-school students made a video call with their colleagues from Italy. It was an excellent opportunity to learn and to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between teachers and students.

Jocelye and Danae from Belgium with Balazs from Northern Ireland had a great conference call in December 2016
