  • TRADITIONAL GAMES IN MY COUNTRY

    EXAMPLE: Nondi/Hopscotch in India

This hopping game, also called Stapoo, is a popular outdoor game. In Tamil Nadu, it goes by the name Nondi. The game involves drawing a grid on the ground and numbering it. Players take turns and throw an object, usually a small stone, onto the numbered blocks. They have to hop across the blocks to pick up the object jumping on one/two legs to finish the lap, taking care not to step on the border lines. It is a group game.

    TRADITIONAL GAMES IN TURKEY
Seven and a Half (Siete y Media) Spain by David.

The game is to get seven and a half points, or get as close to it as possible. Cards are worth as many points as their numerical value, except figures cards (like the kin for example), which are worth half a point. One of the players has to act as a Banker. The dealer deals one card face down to each player and himself. Each player bets and, in turn, can request cards from the bank, on the condition that only one of the ones he has remains covered, so that if he uncovers all of them, the bank gives it to him covered, and if he keeps one face down, the bank gives him another uncover. It can be planted at any time if it has reached half past seven, or if it is below. If a player goes over seven and a half on his turn, he lose.

    The Game of the Goose

The game of the goose is a board game for two or more players. Each
player rolls a dice and moves his piece (according to the number
obtained) through a snail-shaped board with 63 squares (or more), with
drawings. Depending on the square in which you have to move to, you
can advance or on the contrary go back, and in some of them a
punishment or a prize is indicated. On their turn, each player rolls 1 or 2
dice (depending on the different versions) that indicate the number of
squares he must advance. The first player to reach box 63, "the garden
of the goose", wins the game.
