¿Do you understand the message above? It is not possible without the code used for encrypting it. But you are a smart person and surely you will guess that it is a Xmas message. Most likely "Merry Christmas".

Ok, you are rigth. I knew you could decrypt the message!! Now it is your turn to send a encrypted Xmas message to other student. Read carefully the instructions of the activity and... Ω₭₼ῗὀ  ᴂᲶᴒᲱᲱᴥ.

INSTRUCCTIONS

Each school has to develop a different cryptology method. After searching about it, students must record a video explaining this method to the rest of participants. The video will be published on the page "How to encrypt a message".

Then each student will send an encrypted Xmas message to another student using one of the methods published. They can´t use neither the method developed by their own school nor the method developed by the school of the receiver. Therefore, each student has three options for choosing a method.

IMPORTANT:

• Short messages (2/3 sentences)
• Include "Merry Christmas" in the message
• Include some text which is not typical of Xmas messages, so the receiver can't figure out but decoding it properly. For example: Dear Talis, I wish you a Merry Christmas. Today it's rainning in Cordoba.
• Do not tell the receiver which method (from the three available) you are using. It is his/her task to find out and decrypt the message.

This table shows to whom each student must send the message (the name written on the right cell. Students in the fith column will send the message to those who are in the same row first column).
