| Objective: raise awareness about the rights to personal data protection and privacy. |
Task: Introduce the topic to students with a brief explanation, a short video, a class reflection and a short poll.

Background information:
On 26 April 2006 the Council of Europe decided to launch a Data Protection Day.
The 28 January, is the date on which the “Convention 108” on data protection, was opened for signature.
Data Protection Day is celebrated globally and is called Privacy Day outside Europe.
