Mobility to Latvia (2).pdf

As a part of the project  “Eco citizenship” ,  from 30 March to 3 April, mobility participats from Greece, Spain, France, Bulgaria and Poland were visiting Riga Secondary School Nr 41. This was the fourth mobility in this project.

A lot of different activities were provided in these five days. These five days were spent in a lot of different activities. Project members find out a lot of information about Latvian nature, its culture, education. Of course, the main topics of the project were also discussed.

The day at school

Participants had a chance to take a  look into the day-to-day school life of the Latvian pupils. The pupils, along with the teachers, had prepared performancesto welcome the guests and show Latvian culture.

A little from Riga, a little from Latvia.

We were in National museum of art, where we admired the works of outstanding contemporary and ancient Latvian artists.

We showed everyone a modern library, which stores important things for the people of Latvia.

At the end of the day we visited the railway museum, because one of the topics of the project is transport. The train is one of the most popular mode of transport that Latvians choose on a daily basis.

School trip

On Saturday we all went on an excursion to Ķemeri. In this place we could get to know the high moss bog intact.

The bog is about 8000 years old. It is characterized by a maze of elongated lakes or acacias, which gives it a special landscape.
