  • TEACHERS FOR FUTURE-SPAIN

This year, one of the main objectives in our school is to be able to have a clean playground, so we are participating in a programme called ZERO WASTE PLAYGROUND.

Students are learning how to use the compost bin, in order to place organic waste which will turn into compost over time, and also how to recycle properly paper and plastic.

    Where does our rubbish go?

In Grade 3 the students have learnt about recycling with Marnie, our English assistant, who prepared a presentation about the topic.

Then, they read the book "Where does our rubbish go" and learnt very interesting things about who collects our rubbish, where does it go and what do people throw away without recycling.

It is incredible the amount of things that can be recycled but, instead, are thrown away. After working about the book, they all prepared a game called "Reduce, reuse, recycle", in Arts and crafts class. They really had a good time preparing them.

We will give one game to each of our Erasmus partners in the next mobility.

    Let´s make some music!

Almudena, our music teacher, organised this activity with her students in Grades 1, 2 and 3. They made musical instruments with recycled objects. Music and taking care of the planet together.

    Amazing works!
