EVALUATION SECOND STEP (teachers)

  • Dear teachers! Now you also have to evaluate the work developed during the second term! It is your turn!

Benefits for trainees in cooperating with school in etwinning

Cooperation in eTwinning gives trainees a great opportunity to collaborate, develop projects, shouder by shoulder with expert primary school teachers. Trainees become a part of a learning community .

Each trainee has the opportunity to progress professionally in eTwinning, thanks to the Teacher Training Initiative.
Teacher Training Initiatives reflect and develop professional skills and practice, through multidisciplinary work and an international experience: the teachers, partenrs in this project, give the possibility to realize the ideas. Cooperation among trainees, teachers and students

I must start saying that I am EXCITED with this project!
I love the way that we collaborate between schools. And I love all the activities decided to do for our STEAM project.
I think it is great the collaboration of UNICATT students, as well as their teacher Marzia. I love the way they have involved in our project, with their proposals to be carried by our students.
My students love this project too. They love to create in Art activities; they love to create in Engineering activities; they love Maths activities as they understand that Mathematics can be funny; they love Science and they comprehend how important is to know about human body as well as the importance of the job of Scientist to investigate about new treatments to cure illnesses. And they enjoy a lot with collaborative works. They love to share time and activities with their italian friends!!

The term about Leonardo da Vinci was really fantastic!
Students were motivated to carry out all the activies proposed by the teachers and the trainees of the Unicatt using different methodologies: CLIL, IBSE, Tinkering, PBL, Learning by doing…
Students worked in Art reproducing some of Leonardo’s paintings; they learnt about the human body;they built fly machines, kites and parachutes like Leonardo. Students enjoyed to study all the characteristics about the square and the circle working on the Vitruvian man. The videoconference was really amusing! Italian and Spanish students sang a song about Leonardo in two languages.Students used many digitals tools to carry on the activities, for exemple Storyjumper to create the stories about Leonardo.Teachers partner and trainees collaborated in a very intense way, sharing ideas, planning the steps, proposing the tools.
I think that we all enjoyed about our students’ motivation to learn and their creativity! I’m really satisfied!

Leonardo Da Vinci has been wonderfull, students were very exited about the different things to be worked and even now they still singing the song, asking about the different materials, they remember about the paintings names, it is really amazing !! For me as a teacher has been a challenge because of the huge use of ICT we use. They love doing parachutes and the thing they like the most even been so young are the recording for the different works ( last supper paintings, body language questions to be answered...) story jumper has been really interesting and so well work by their partner to resume Leonardo´s life. It is always a please to work as coordinated as always work my partners. Thank you for making it possible. Lovely project.

The activities about the genius, Leonardo da Vinci, were very captivating for the students. They worked very hard in collaboration, but they had a lot of fun. The pupils showed a lot of enthusiasm in the development of the activities: in the construction of the Vitruvian man, kites, parachutes, skeletons ...They were looking forward to meeting their partners in videoconference.
The participation of Unicatt gave value to our project. The students put into practice the trainees' CLIL proposal, with their creativity.
Many innovative methodologies have been tested in this step: Tinkering, Inquiry, PBL, CLIL. We have verified, through observation and tests, that the level of competences of our students, in the STEAM disciplines, has increased. All of us have given great importance to the development of soft skills.
