Now we have finished the second term, it is the time to evaluate our job. Please, go this questionnaire and answer all the questions.

    Thanks!

CONCLUSSIONS OF EVALUATION SECOND TERM FOR STUDENTS:

44 students have realized their evaluation of the second term using this document on Google forms.

Almost a 91% of the students considered they had adquired several skills, such as collaboration, creativity, digital skills and the use of English. Only an 8% of the students said that they had adquired only creativity or only collaboration.

When students were asked about their favourite activity in Science, there was a tie between the creation of skeletons using different materials and the use of the digital tool FlipGrid to ask and answer questions about human skeleton. In that way, we noticed how different were both tasks, as the first one involved creativity and the second one involved digital skills.

Anyway, the four options had a very similar number of votes, and any of them highligted from the rest.

This showed us that all the students were happy with all the proposed activities.

In Art, students had to paint two well-known paintings of Leonardo: the Gioconda and the Dame of the ermine. They also had to paint Leonardo's portrait. When we asked them about the painting they liked the most to paint, the most had voted for the portrait of Leonardo.

To do these activities we used different techniques, and as the first ones were more difficult, we think they had voted for this one because they only had to use a pencil to make the picture.

When we asked students about which engineering job liked doing the most, around a 59% had voted for the creation of the parachute using surgical masks and little toys.

To do this activity, students had to decorate their surgical masks, and think about the way of tying the elastic bands to their toy. It was a difficult task for them, because most of the times, when they tried the parachutes fly, the toys tied off and could not fly together. So they could work collaboratively, helping one each other and finding the way of tying both stuffs. In this task, teachers were only guides, letting students to think, prove and correct the mistakes.

With this activity students had fun because they found another use for surgical masks, that element that became part of our daily clothes since March 2020, due to universal covid pandemic.

At the end, everyone enjoyed when all the parachutes could fly!

Otherwise, the half per cent, had also voted for the activity of making kites. This was a very difficult task for our kids because they had to work with the help of their parents, using recicled materials they had at home, but they could make very beautiful crafts.

When we worked the Vitruvian man, we used differente texts, in English and in our mother tongues, to make our students understand the importance of this picture, its history and all the subjects involved on it.

So we used this iconic symbol in three subjects: Language, Maths and Art.

Students knew important information about Vitruvio, the Renaissance, philosophical currents, human anatomy discoveries and many aspects of how Mathematics and Art can be connected.

That is the reason why almost a 98% considered that this painting is so important!

It is well-known that our students love to do videoconferences, because it as an exceptional way of manteining a real contact with the rest of the members of the project.

In this ocassion, we decided it was going to be a special videoconference, because we had to learn two songs about Leonardo da Vinci: one in Italian language and another one in Spanish language. To tell the truth, it was a difficult task to learn a song in another language, and we had to learn the meaning of the lyrics to understand them and make the learning easier.

Almost every day, at the end of our days, we listened to the songs in order to learn them. It took us more than two months, singing them daily. But once we could sing them, it was very difficult to get them out of our heads, and we were all the time singing the songs, even at home!

Children were all the time asking teachers to play the songs, they loved singing them. That can be the reason why almost a 98% of our students could sing them both.

In this picture there is no doubt that ALL OUR STUDENTS love this project!

This is an amazing project, well integrated in our curriculum, with many different and enjoyable activities that helps our students to develop many skills.

Everybody, students and teachers, are delighted with ART 4US eTwinning project!

    ASPECTS TO BE IMPROVED

Sometimes, as we are so motivated with the project, we want to do a lot of activities, and it is difficult for us due to the lack of time.

At schools we can not only work eTwinning projects; we have to work other subjects and another curricular contents.

This way, during the project, we would have to take this into account and not to propose a lot of activities that can be hard for us to develop with succes.
