Yes, the full name of our school is indeed long. But it includes the important things you should know about us. Our teachers and us, students, do their best to create a friendly environment, where we can all feel socially (social - pol. społeczna) comfortable. We do so by communicating with each other, but Polish isn’t the only language we speak. In fact, learning English and German is major to us (language [adj.] - pol. językowa). 

We are and have been situated in Częstochowa, Silesian Voivodeship in the south part of Poland for 30 years. We learn together in places other than our school, though. Our trips to places such as Rome and Barcelona taught us lots about the world and were incredible experiences. But the trips around Poland are equally unforgettable. Even visiting our local forest is fun when you’re surrounded by the right people! Exploring the world is one of the things we miss most since the beginning of the pandemic.

We’re super keen on travelling, but in the end there’s no place like our school. After all, it’s called our second home for a reason:)

Społeczna Językowa Szkoła Podstawowa nr 1 Społecznego Towarzystwa Oświatowego operates at ul. Brzeźnicka 59 in Częstochowa in the Silesian Voivodeship in the building of the parish of st. Wojciech. The housing conditions make it possible to implement the idea of the school, it is small, so the student ceases to be anonymous, it is safe and "ours": students, parents, teachers. 

There are 9 departments in the primary school and a kindergarten department, the so-called kindergarten. Each team can study a maximum of 15 students. Classes are conducted in a one-shift system.

The work of the school is based on the cooperation of the school principal with the Management Board of the leading body, bilateral cooperation between the Management Board and the principal with school employees, the use of democratic problem-solving procedures, cooperation with the pedagogical supervision body, cooperation with other educational institutions. However, taking into account the nature of the institution, it is fundamental to implement a policy of involving parents of students in the school's life.
