    Recycling at Stockholm International School

Previously, grade 6 and 7 students have worked with their advisory teacher (also connected to the Erasmus + project) to arrange the collection of paper recycling in the main building at school. This involved students using their break time to collect and empty recycling bins throughout the school year. They have done this to increase the proper sorting of paper materials and proper disposal of them in our school. Afterwards students reflected on both why this project was important and what they learned from its completion.

Currently, the Erasmus+ Enrichment group is creating paper, plastic and compost containers for each classroom to extend this project in both the materials being recycled and the number of classrooms included. The Enrichment group has communicated the implementation in all classrooms with the senior management group. This will be in place and economically supported for the school year 2017-2018. This means that the project has become a permanent action at SIS.
