Zamora is a small town and municipality of Spain located in the autonomous community of Castille and León, very near Portugal.
Here you have an introduction video about our art and culture (in English):
The city is crossed by the Duero river, one of the longest and most abundant rivers in Spain. The passing of our river across the town generates one of the most incredible urban water eco-systems in the world. That's why we'll focus most of our activities in learning even more things about our river Duero.
Zamora has also been called The Museum of Romanesque Art due to its 24 characteristic Romanesque style churches of the 12th and 13th centuries. Zamora is the city with the most Romanesque churches in all of Europe.
