We watch movies based on familiar books

Bulgarian students compare the movie "Pippi Longstocking at School" with an excerpt from the book "Pippi Goes to School". 
Some of the students drew how they imagine a poster for the film if they make a film based on the book. They found that there was music and dance in the film that was missing from the book. There aren't many moments from the episode in the book. Here are some drawings - posters after watching the movie:

The students compared the book to the movie and most of them prefer the movie.

1st kindergarten of Nea Redestos

Children's  favourite book, the most wanted in our Lending Scool Library is "Room for a broom". We read it aloud and dramatized it!!!!

So the short film we watched was...."A ROOM FOR A BROOM"

Children loved it!!! They loved the animation, the details of the heroe' s expressions. They loved the music, the sounds -things that you can only imagine when you read a book. We discussed a lot about heroe's feelings and the decisions they made.
