# Impact and analysis of the results

  • Here are the results of the final evaluation done by the teachers and some analysis about them and the impact of these results on our schools and backgrounds:

First of all, we have to say that only four teachers out of amost twenty have participated in the final evaluation survey. This has been due to the final school year and the difficulties that we have to face at this time of the year but this hasn't been a handicap for the evaluation as we have been evaluating the project throughout the three videoconferences held during the project and the results shown with this final survey will reflect our final thoughts about the project.

Most of us agree that the project has promoted communication among our students in English languge, as it has been the language used in the project to communicate among us. It's obvious that in some activities we have also worked in our mother tongues, but not to communicate and interact to other members from different countries. So, English language has been used successfully among us, both teachers and students.

Most of us agree that the project has highly promoted the digital competence in our students, as they have been able to use many digital tools throughout the project, as for instance: to vote, to make the puzzles at stage 1, to do the escape room, to introduce themselves and talk to others on the Forum, to make their profile, etc...

All of us agree that this project has introduced our students to coding tools, and thanks to this project they have been able to get to know about coding and programming and also have been able to use some basic tools used in the project and they loved them!

All of us agree that the level of the escape room was challenging enough for our students and they all enjoyed doing it because they were really excited while doing the puzzles and wanted to find all the passwords and codes.

All of us agree that all the digital tools used in the project have been appropriate for the different activities. Basically, these tools have been thought to be used for children of their age and the teachers have always been the guide and leaders for them when using them in the classroom. The teachers have support each other when needed with tutorials or other help using our communication channels.

Most of us agree that the project has promoted social and civic competences in our students because they have learnt how to behaviour on the Internet (netiquette principles) and they have put that into good use in the project.

All of us agree that the project has promoted cultural awareness in our students, not only because we have learnt about history with the Siege of Troy, but also because we have been in touch with students and teachers from other countries and we have had the opportunity to talk to them on videoconferences and the Forum and get to know them and their cultures better.

All of us agree that the project has promoted meta-cognitive strategies in our students because they have learnt many things more apart from the contents implied in the project. This is one of the best things of participating in eTwinning projects: our students develop so many competences and strategies that are priceless.

All of us believe that the project has promoted motivation in our students because they have learnt the contents through different methodologies based on voting, drawing and choosing, doing the escape room (which has been the most motivating activity from the project for them), creating a video, creating puzzles...And all this using the new technologies, which are really motivating for them and they were always looking forward to using them in the classroom and, therefore, doing the project.

Most of us think that the project has promoted autonomy in our students, whereas one of us think that not so much, this might be due to the fact that our students weren't old enough to do all the activities on their own and needed the teachers to help them out, but it's been very little help and we have tried to make them use the tools for themselves as much as possible.

Most of us think that the project has promoted creativity in our students because there have been many activities where our students had to create products or part of the final product, like for instance: the logo, the puzzles, the video... They have been really creative in all these activities and they love being creative.

All of us agree that collaboration among our students have been accomplished because all of them have collaborated in international teams to make the final products and they have really seen how they can create a product with the help and participation of each one of them.

Half of us think that the project has promoted the artistic competence in our students while the other half think it hasn't. This might be due to the fact that there haven't been so many artistic activities as they might expect.

All of us agree that the objectives of the project have been achieved very successfully. There is a page on the TwinSpace where this achievement of the objectives and their relationship to the products and activities can be seen very clearly.

As a whole, all of us are really happy with the project and the results with it, both in teachers and our students. It has been a really successful project, and that has been mainly possible for the great team of teachers and the great teams of students we have had. It has been a real pleasure to work together and we hope to work again together in more projects in the future.
