In Italy, we asked to our students to express their opinion on the interviews to researchers.
We created a Google module and these are the results (we collected 18 answers, about the 45% of studenst involved in our project):
Most of the students have partecipated at least at one interview ( we did them in the afternoon after school).
Passion, difficult, interesting...these are some key words. Students understood that a scientist is not born a scientist but becomes one.
It’s not easy to inspire a whole life but only 11% of students thing that these interviews weren’t inspiring.
More than 75% of students think that these interviews can help them for the final exam.
The life of a scientist is not what they expected to be.
None think to avoid the last interview.
A good evaluation…8 is the medium value!!
