Mobility to Espoo - Day 3

  • Day 3 - WEDNESDAY 10th March

     

    ACTIVITIES:

    * Look for the recipe for the Finnish Carelian pies, Karjalan piirakka, and bake them. 

    Or meatballs and mashed potatoes, the Finnish buns.

    How about making Sima, Mead, for the First of May celebration?

     

    * Making decorations for Easter is very popular in Finland. We have a rhyme children say when they dress up as Easter witches and go around the neighborhood giving decorated twigs to people.

    Why don’t you start knitting? Even boys and men have started doing that in our country.
