Participants
We will include schools from a number of countries around Europe: England, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Poland, Spain, Ukraine.
We will share pictures of our schools so that the pupils can learn from these photos.
This project is also being used by the English schools to develop partnerships with other European schools, which may lead to Erasmus+ partnerships and exchanges. It is also being used as a training project.
Several eTwinning Ambassadors are taking part in this project, and the project will be used for training workshops over the next year in Spain and England
Project Logo
The first activity is a logo competition.
Christmas decorations
Pupils will research, develop and share ideas for hand-made Christmas decorations.
Instructions for making the decorations will be shared on the Twinspace
Decorations will be made and displayed in each of the schools.
Christmas traditions around Europe
The children will share information about Christmas in their country.
They will learn from each other about some of the Christmas traditions in Europe, including traditions, carols and food.
Christmas cards and ecards
We will make and exchange Christmas cards with our partner school, and ecards using the coding programme Scratch.
Skype
We will hold skype calls with some of our partner schools. This call will probably include a Christmas song - and videos of these will be shared in advance on the Twinspace so that the pupils can learn the other song.
Project diary
There will be a Project Diary, which will be public and can be linked from schools’ websites.
ebook
We will make an ebook of the decorations as a lasting outcome of the project.
