EXCHANGE IN NORWAY MAY 2022

    The Belgian and Spanish teams arrived in Kristiansand and after a short visit to the city, they travelled by train to Marnardal. A presentation took place at the school where the guests and hosts got to know each other. A delicious meal prepared at the school was served.

    11th May

    Day started with a workshop focused on 'plastic'. Pupils made an animation film using pictures of plastic rubbish collected by norwegian students (grade 9). The results were watched by all the students and it was very interesting.

     

    After a break, it took place an introduction to fly fishing (no real fishing though, since the season begins on june 1) . Then we had a taste of wild salmon. Then they had some outdoor activities.

     

    12th May

    Environmental design and calcification to revive life in the river, and how to create a sustainable environment for the salmon and still produce even more hydro power. With year 8. Indoor and outdoor. There was a visit to the river explained by a specialist.

    In the afernoon we travelled by bus to Hesså to practice rafting. Afterwards, we had some vegegtables and salmon.

    13th May

    Innovation camp. Theme: Tourism in Marnardal in 2030. We will work together with local businesses that wil give us some challenges to solve.

    Goals from UN’s list of sustainable development goals should be taken into consieration.

    Pupils proposed some ideas for tourism in the area in ten years.

    14th May

    The farewell took place and the teams started their journey back to their home country.
