EXCHANGE IN SPAIN APRIL 2022

  • 25th April


    In this exchange, the Norwegian team arrived first on Monday 25th April, ahead of the Belgian team. We had a reception at the school with a short presentation of the families and students. 

    26th April

    The Norwegian team got to know the centre and had the opportunity to participate in a practical art class. This was followed by an orientation activity in the town, where the guests were able to get to know their guests.
    The morning ended with a guided tour of Ocaña with the Tourist Office. Different places of interest were visited.

    In the evening, the Belgian team arrived, and in the same way a reception was held at the centre for the families.

    27th April

    We travelled to Toledo by bus for the visit. On arrival, we went on a route along the Senda del Tajo and then we went zip-lining. This activity, as planned, was very popular with all the students. The morning ended with a guided tour of Toledo.

    28th April

    Visit to the national park of Las Tablas de Daimiel. During the morning, a visit to this very interesting park took place, according to the planned programme.

    After lunch, they visited the castle and a mill in Consuegra. This place was very interesting for the visiting students, as it is very different from what can be seen in their home country.

    29th April

    This day the Norwegian team said goodbye to the families in the morning at the train station in Aranjuez. The Belgian team continued one more day in our school:
    A workshop was held to print on cloth bags a logo. It was a very fun and practical activity, each student was able to take away a bag with a personalised drawing.

    This was followed by a tour of Ocaña in groups in the form of a game in which guests and visitors got to know each other.
    To end the morning at the centre, Jesús Picazo, Latin teacher, organised an activity with his 4th ESO students about myths. The different presentations of the groups were very interesting.

    Afterwards we went by bus to Aranjuez, to visit, after lunch, the Palace of Aranjuez and then take a canoe trip on the Tagus River.
