Activities before the 1st mobility to London
(Southwark College)
January 2020
The TOPICS of the project have been rearranged this way:
United Kingdom: Digital and economic inclusion. How the good use of digital resources can contribute to equality in our societies? Are ITC tools promoting better, safer and more tolerant communities? Is access to the internet a relevant issue? Should we consider that all persons have the right to a good and proper use of the internet? Is access to information and knowledge a right that should be protected nowadays? Why? How can we contribute to a global citizenship using ITC tools?
Italy: Cultural inclusion and diversity. Why different cultures want to live together despite their differences? Why immigration is a great challenge today? Has everyone the right to be accepted in a different culture?
Spain: Disability and social inclusion. How can we promote better communities for people with disabilities? Are we creating communities where everyone is taken into account and not left behind? Is vulnerable people important in making decisions and changing the world?
As all the topics are connected, although we will focus on our topic, we can also make references to the others and to the general idea of Cultural Diversity and Inclusion.
- Each partner school will shoot a SHORT VIDEO-CLIP (1-2 minutes) before our meeting in London. This clip will be related to the topic assigned to each country. Araceli will give us indications and a template. In London, the clips will be gathered and they will be the basis for the final product of the project. In each mobility, students (all of them or some of them) will shoot short clips that will be added to this video. Videos will be added to the Album/Videos/1rst mob. and can be post HERE in the Twinboard ADD ITEM.
- Each partner school will prepare any kind of PRESENTATION (Genially, Power Point Presentation, Prezi...) about the topic of the mobility we are going to. In this case, the topic is Digital and economic inclusion. Presentations will be added to Album/Files/Digital and economic inclusion and can be also post HERE in the Twinboard ADD ITEM.
Safer Internet Day (SID) will take place on Tuesday, 11th of February 2020 with a theme of "Together for a better internet". We´ll commemorate this day and resources related to this topic will be used in the presentations.
