  • Şcoala Gimnazială "Ştefan cel Mare" Galaţi

"Stefan cel Mare" Secondary School is a state school granting primary and secondary education, with 18 teachers for primary level, 34 teachers for secondary level, auxiliary-didactic and nondidactic staff.

There are around 900 students who are educated in our school which is considered one of the most renowned schools in Galati, attracting students from all the areas of the city, through the professional training and the passion that lead the teachers to
a real academic success of their students, through the educational offer based on many extra-curricular activities used in well shaping students within
    cross-curricular competences.
Our teachers are continuously interested both in professional development and capitalizing on the benefits of professional communication activating
as teacher trainers, mentors, methodical meetings’ counselors and project managers. Within the last years, our school has been actively involved in eTwinning projects, being awarded the ‘eTwinning School” label for 2019-2020.
The motivation to participate in this project comes from the great number of students using the internet on a daily basis and the limited number of training and resources that the school and parents have to support safe online time.
Although this project is our first Erasmus+ experience, we are a team of hardworking, ambitious teachers, who put the students first and who design all kinds of extracurricular activities, so as to create a friendly, safe and secure environment.

We believe that together with the partners in this project, we will have a great experience which will lead to better understanding of the threats in the online world and increase online security in all the participant schools and communities.
