The legs that can stand more weight

Giraffe has very tall and thin legs. Gerald the giraffe is clumsy!

Why? Can his legs stand his body?

In the !st Kindergarten of N. Redestos we tried to find out whose legs could stand more weight. Giraffe's or the elephant's?

We begun with the legs....

4 long and thin legs! We started to put books over them....

We put more...and more...until....

The legs coud not stand more!

Then we trid with short and thick legs (like elephant's).

We put the same number of books. Those legs seem strong!

And even more!!!!

Coclusion: The legs that are thick and short can stand more weight!

DUE TO COVID 19 SCHOOLS IN ITALY WERE CLOSED, SO THAT THERE IS NO PARTICIPATION IN THIS PAGE
