The methodology of this project was the STEAM approach in our educational program. Starting from reading certain books, children were educated in an ingrated and holistic approach of learning.
Students were in the center of the acivities, took action, worked individually or in groups, took responsabilities, solved problems and investigated concepts.
The project has no dividing lines between the subjects of school curicullum, that means that many cognitive areas were conneced through this interdisciplinary approach.
Activities based on Inquiry Based Learning and Problem Based Learning were used to motivate children and make them work in an interesting, experimental and joyfull framework and prepare them for requiring 21st century learning, life and literacy competences.
