  • Some Italian students were challenged to learn more about the importance of eating coloruful food.

    Nature offers us a lot of healthy and genuine food. Natural foods are full of energy and vitamins.

    The average supermarket sells about 15,000 types of processed food, containing lots of preservatives, coloring etcs.

    The blue, purple and deep red fruit and vegetables are rich in antioxidants and they keeping our heart healthy and our brain functioning optimally.

    Blackberries, for example,  get their deep purple hue from anthocyanins ,a class of phytochemicals that soothe inflammation and may lower cancer and heart disease risks. Blackberries are also a good source of vitamins A and C.

    It is important to eat fresh food in season so in winter we can choose among bananas, red, yellow and green apples, kiwis, oranges, pears. All of them are rich in vitamins and good for our health.

    So let’s eat some juicy fruit for a break instead of processed food
