Using Natural Dyes to Create the Maltese Eight Pointed Cross

his activity was a collaborative activity between the Art and Biology students. Natural dyes from plants were extracted by the Biology students during the Biology lesson. The colours extracted were later used by the Art students to make tie and dye experimentations. The various pieces of cloth used in the Tie and Dye process were later used to create a very colourful Eight Pointed Maltese Cross.
