    As an initial task my younger students were asked to research about chlorophyll, the green pigment in plants.  They also researched about accessory pigments, which are the other pigments found in plants, and that give a red or yellow colour.

    Pigment in Humans: Haemoglobin

    As part of their syllabus, Biology 1st Year students need to know basic things about the red blood cell.  As part of their assignement, they were asked to create a poster with researched information about the red blood cell, and mainly about the red colour of blood.
