The second day started with activities at school. First, students designed the labels for different waste type bins. The labels were stuck on the bins and put into school corridors.

After that, the best slogans were chosen to be put as speech bubbles in the forests/parks. Next, all participants presented the videos about waste types, after which they took a quiz to check how much they learnt. 

The next activity was trekking in nature - students and teachers, led by a forest ranger, discovered the beauty of loess gorges in Stary Majdan. They were told about this type of landscape and the species of animals and plants that can be found in the area. 

After trekking, the participants visited Three Cultures Centre in Majdan Ostrowski and House of Former culture and tradition in Roziecin. There, the cooking workshop was organised - students prepared the traditional "cebularz" and learnt how to make butter. They discovered that traditional cuisine is not only delicious but also environmentally friendly.
