How much do the children in your school know about the UNESCO sites in your area?

The results of the Baseline survey conducted at Barton Hill Academy 7-18th October in preparation for the start of our project are as follows:

11% of KS2 children (ages 7-11) had heard of UNESCO GeoParks

2.5% of KS2 children could name the GeoPlay Park in Paignton, almost all of the children have visited this play park. 1 child named 'Kents Cavern' because he had seen a UNESCO GEOPARK sign there. 

2.5% of KS2 children had a fair idea of what 'Heritage' means.
