CHRISTMAS PRESENTS Primay school Don Bosco Rotonda

At Christmas it’s nice to exchange greetings and involve the children to realize some small items to donate to the families without spending too much, but to use mind and hands to build something unique and particular.  So let’s collect ideas, thing about the materials as possible. Each student makes his contribution and collect  material: wood, fabric, colored ribbons, buttons ….The teachers  look in the closets colored sheets, colors, glue, hot glue end  they think how to assemble the material. In the afternoon we make a laboratory: the works will not be perfect but they will certainly be unique and original pieces They give us carefree and fun afternoons where each one uses ingenuity, imagination, creativity and manual skills.

We had a workshop about volunteerin. Volunteeering should become a part of our  life because it can help people and children to meet their elementary needs and to achieve their human rights. When we volunteer we give our time for other people and children to achieve their goals and their human rights and it is the best gift that we can give to other people! We took part in several humanitarian actions. Last year ew sold our Christmas cards and presents and collected money for ill and poor children in Argentina and we also collected differetn thisngs for poor children in Croatia.,

All children have got the right to have an appropriate care and to be happy! Unfortunately a lot of children in Croatia are poor and don't have an appropriate care so we have decided to make them happy. Befor Christmas we collected toys, picture book, sweets and made presents for them! My students enjoyed in this activity!
