My pupils have found this project very useful, interesting and enjoyable. 

We particularly liked:

making and receiving the recycled Christmas cards;

having a link with the school in Brest to exchange pen-friend letters helped all the children in years 3-6 have a real purpose for their language learning;

children in Year 6 at Eastburn enjoyed writing the Christmas poem in many languages and this helped them to understand the wide scope of the project;

the inclusion of this project in Safer Internet Day was helpful.

Additionally, I used this project with a group of primary school language teachers in my local cluster of schools as a training tool for them to get some hands on experience of using a Twinspace.

Also my students liked this project and they appreciated the activity on the eco  cards and writing letters too, they liked the fact of being in touch with their European peers. Moreover they loved the activity "Plant and Flowers" and the one on endangered animals. It was a great opportinity for them becuase they really experienced communicating in English and learned a lot of thigs they didn't know. They also had the chance to reflect upon climate change effects and how to be more responsible relating to our planet.

Our children liked this project a lot. 

They got a first glimpse of Europe, with its members, languages, traditions and cultures and they were very curios abot that and it was great when the Christmas arrived! The parents at the Open Day saw the eTwinning Corner with the Cards coming from Europe and were very happy about the international interest of the school.

The participation in this project allowed them to have the feeling that the efforts to save the pIanet are shared from a lot of other schools in Europe. They felt that they are not alone, even if the problem quite worried them.

The use of English to communicatye showed them how important it is to learn foreign languages and they got used at the sound of the other languages 

The other teachers really liked the project and found it inspiring.
