WordCloud HAS YOUR LAND EVER CRIED
We are Cristian, Adrián and Georg. The greenhouse effect is a natural process that warms the Earth's surface. When the Sun's energy reaches the Earth's atmosphere, some of it is reflected back to space and the rest is absorbed and re-radiated by greenhouse gases. The humans cause this problem because we contaminate a lot with the pollution, fossil fuels...
The fire is the result of matter getting burned in an intentional or accidental way. The global warming makes fire appear more often and the fire takes longer time to get extinct, the fire can even start just by the high temperatures.
The urbanisation of the seaside in the Canary Islands is having very hard consequeces because, when we build near the seaside the seastorms that arrive to the islands are harder. This happens because when we build on the coast we are taking land from the sea so this block the air currents and changes the way that the sea currents flow. These events are usually harmful for these buildings.
In the ravine next to the "Holiday World" there was a big flood due to the waste that acumulated
The flood is when the water has overflow because of the heavy rains. The level of the water goes up .This hapened in Tenerife some years ago. There were a lot of people wounded and other three died.A lot of people lost their houses. And they were three days with no electricity

We are going to talk about the sea level in Las Canteras. In the last years the sea level has risen due to global warming, that we have generated throwing trash to the seas, using our cars everyday, gases from industries... The results indicate that sea level could rise up to 59 centimeters more in this century. They are a few centimeters but the increase of the coast has put in danger the beaches, the population and the animals that feed us.
on the island of La Palma and which has affected 4,864 hectares, especially pine. The fire began on August 3 in the rural area of Jedey, in the municipality of El Paso, and apparently it was the burning of a toilet paper by a young German, who is in prison, which caused the fire .
Hi, we are to talk about unlike the previous grand flood suffered in Tenerife, that is, the 2002 flood, the 2010 one was not limited to the city of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and it´s immediate surrounding areas but the powerful Atlantic bores affected virtually all of the Canary Islands, albeit with much more incidence in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Also, unlike in 2002, the 2010 flood did not result in fatalities.
This story It´s about the inundation on 2002 in Tenerife, this inundation was initiated for one heavy rain, the rain caused a flood and this devastated the all vicinity towns, houses, etc ...
Human activities can make the environment unhealthy. The gasoline burned inside car engines produces gases that poison the air. Factories burn fuels to run machines, and these burning fuels release poisons into the air. Human activities also poison water. Some factories produce liquid wastes that are dumped into rivers. These wastes often contain poisons.Sometimes, useful chemicals cause problems in the environment. When small animals eat poisoned insects, they take in the chemicals into their cells. When larger animals eat the smaller ones, the poisoned is passed on to the larger animals. The larger animals are eaten by still larger animals including people.

Invasive species are animals, plants or other organisms that develop outside their natural distribution, in habitats that are not their own or with unusual abundance, producing alterations in the ecosystem. When they are introduced by man they are called invasive alien species. Natural or human-caused changes in ecosystems across the globe have redistributed plant and animal species accidentally or voluntarily. These invasions have several problems associated:At the ecological level, the loss of native diversity and the degradation of invaded habitats stand out. The direct effects on agricultural activities and public health are economically important. Once the invasion is detected, its control and eradication are expensive and not always possible. Identifying potential invaders and avoiding their establishment is the best way to stop a problem that increases at the same rate as globalization.

During August 2019, a number of forest fires broke out in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands The fires on the island of Gran Canaria were the most severe, resulting in the loss of large areas of the island's forests and leading to the evacuation of thousands of residents from a number of towns and villages. The intense heat brought by a heat wave and the presence of strong winds, combined with the island's orography, made extinguishing activities exceptionally difficult.
