    Forests cover nearly 31% of our planet's area. Forests are home to more than 80% of all terrestrial species of animals, plants and insects. However, biodiversity is declining faster than at any other time in human history. What can we do about it? Among others, we must be respectful toward wildlife and take part in ecotourism opportunities, be respectful to wildlife or support protected areas of healthy ecosystems, e. g. national parks.
