4th Day

    The day started with the visit to Lūznava manor, where everyone was introduced to its history and renovation process. Students had a creative workshop, where ther tried to build their own bridges.

    The next stop was at Malta Secondary school, where students had different activities with Ozobots.

    After the lunch participants went to Preiļi museum of dolls , where they had a great opportunity to see the dolls that are the prototypes of the heroes of different movies and fairytales. The activity, which studnets enjoyed the most, was trying on the the costumes of pricesses, kings and musketeers.

    The next stop was the Aglona Roman Catholic Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Aglona, which is one of the most important Catholic spiritual centers in Latvia. The final stop was Christ the King mount, which  is a unique sculpture complex with orchards of 650 ornamental plants, more than 120 fruit trees, artificial ponds and two 17 m bridges. There are located around 500 sculptures of the Biblical stories, as well as the Garden of Eden, Noah’s Ark and the wooden church.
