2nd Day

    The day began with presentations of each participating country on “Green schools”. Participants learned about Eco schools, their goals, work and future perspectives. 

    Then students had an online session on Canva.com. They learned how to create posters, infographics and other visual materials on this platform.

    Later on participants had an online meeting with the representative from the company SIA Getliņi EKO, which manages the largest municipal solid waste landfill in the Baltic States. The landfill is one of the most modern landfills in Europe and at the moment it is created and developed as a modern and safe waste recycling centre. Students and teachers learned 

    After the lunch students had a chance to master “Green screen” presentation skills. They created their own video films “Robots save the world”. That was a new and valuable experience for all participants.

    The day finished with the cultural event, where all participants tried each other’s national cuisine, danced national dances and had sincere conversations with each other.
