Types of movements in the air (hovercraft)

  • While we were studying differeces between various types of movement in the air (flying, glading and floating), a question about hovercrafts appeared. They travel just above the surface of land or water on a strong current of air that the engines produce beneath. Thus, it is the phenomenon similar to the one used in flying: the pressure under the vehicle is higher and above - lower. Does it mean that hovercrafts fly?
