SAYINGS FOR A RELIGION, A BELIEF, A NATION, A CULTURE AND PEOPLE
ARE STRICTLY
FORBIDDEN
While using internet, we should respect other people's privacy,be forgiving of other people's mistakes and shouldn't abuse our power.
NetiquetteIt is easy to lose your sense of what is going on around you when you are using technology, but engaging directly with others is more important than ever. Don't forget the positive impact you can make! You might think that we are all friends online, but your friends may not want their names and or email addresses publicized to people they do not even know. The same goes for uploading photos or videos that include other people to public space or sending them out to your own contacts. If you tag people on Facebook, others can access pictures of those people, unless they have adjusted their privacy settings.Hoping to have had some good written communication throughout the project, when communicating electronically, whether through email, instant message, discussion post, text, or some other method, we have always tried to respect the others and expect the same in return.
Be ethical! As you might have guessed, netiquette is essentially rules and norms for interacting with others on the internet in a considerate, respectful way.We all should learn how to be on our best behavior in an online classroom activity, project or debate. Every day may feel like casual Friday in an online classroom where you don’t see anyone in person, but a certain level of formality is still expected in your communication with others. Make a point to be kind and respectful in your comments—even if you disagree with someone.“Good netiquette means conducting yourself in an online class with the same respect, politeness and professionalism that you would exhibit in a real-life classroom.”Throughout the project we tried to respect other people's privacy and we made it till the end of it being disciplined and obeying all the rules as hard as we tried!
While there is no official list of netiquette rules or guidelines, the general idea is to respect others online. During the project as a school we avoided using offensive language, respected others' privacy and always shared photos, videos or comments relevant to the project.
Use Respectful LanguageName-calling, cursing, expressing deliberately offensive opinions—if you wouldn't do it to the face of anyone who might conceivably see what you write, don't write it. This goes for any social media site, forum, chat room, or email message, even if you think it can't be traced back to you. It can.And it's not just what you say, but how you say it. Either take the trouble to use the shift key for capital letters, or write in all lower case, but don't use caps lock. Text in all caps is generally perceived as yelling. Please don't forget to say please and thank you as appropriate.
Netiquette is concerned with the "proper" way to communicate in an online environment. When we communicate in the virtual world, we should consider the ethical rules and behave accordingly. No matter which platform it is, we should be careul about what we write, or say. We should avoid insulting or abusing people.
On the internet everybody must respect each other's rights. No one wants be insulted so no one should insult to others. Additionally honesty is very important. You should never lie and also you shouldn't forget that everybody may not be really honest on the internet.
As Internet users, we have to obey some unwritten rules just like in real life. We have to be sensitive for others’ feelings and rights, respect their choices. We should use positive language in communication. Here we , teachers and students , declare to be ethical.
Social media is not different from real life and also everybody has a private preferences. So, we think to think twice or even more about what and how we will express our ideas and feelings in a place which is open to the whole world.
