We were at a scientific conference organized for our class by our teacher and university researchers.

On Thursday, we were at the Faculty of Biology of UAM in Poznań. At the beginning we had a lecture "Mushrooms - an ambulance for man, plants and the environment with Professor Lembicz, where we learned about the role of mushrooms in our environment and how they help it. We found out that there are mushrooms that convert plastic into food. Scientists in Austria invented it.

After the lecture we observed water samples through microscopes and searched for organisms found in it. Then we found out how "in vitro" can help to save soon to be extinct species of plants and how they can multiply. We had the opportunity to do it ourselves and take it home with us. Finally, we had a very interesting lecture on genetics. We did a test to see how different we are from each other. We also learned about genetic diseases and how they are passed on. Finally, our trip came to an end and we all came back home with new and certainly useful knowledge.

We are currently sharing our knowledge with colleagues and parents and preparing a film which will be made available to all students.
We act for the climate and educate each other.

    We're all at home.
The students at home drew and wrote messages of hope and thanks to health professionals who fight this epidemic with old t-shirts.
