| Mustafa Kemal Paşa is a secondary school which is situated in Avcılar district in . The school has 1280 students, 64 teachers and 4 administrators. The age of the students ranges from 9 to 14. We always explore the ways of creating a favourable school culture, motivate the students for the continuity of their school life, create a friendly atmosphere in which children enjoy their learning. We haven’t attended an intercultural project before but we encouraged some of our students to exchange letters with some students in Africa. This experience encouraged us to establish cross-cultural links. We’re carrying out a project called Harezmi Education Model which belongs to Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education. The students defines daily real life problems, and step by step determine how to solve this problem and produce innovative solutions throughout the year. The topic of our project is agriculture. We learn about the implementations of organic agriculture. I’m a teacher of English. I’ve attended Erasmus+ projects before. I have some cross-cultural experiences and I’m ready to guide the staff of the school for this project. |
