Evaluation

  • At the end we will evaluate the project:

    • from the students' point of view -> Go here for questions and results

    • from the teachers' point of view concerning the project in general, aims, outcomes, communication,  ... e.g. -> Go here for questions & results

    • collaboration within the project and benefits of using eTwinning for this topic, ... -> teachers' comments, interviews, ...
  • For teachers: should we also include parents when talking about breakfast habits?

    Our parents want to participate

but most of my students' parents don't know English.Maybe I can translate if they write down their ideas on papers (Yasemin Tur)

    My students' parents

My students parents do not use English as every day language. They understand a little but speaking and writing is difficult for tchem. I always show the results of the projects during meetings. This time, they also like the project. The most important thing for them is awerness of having breakfast regularly every day, and find nutricious aspects.

If it is too difficult for parents to write you as a teacher can write what they think and have tols you concerning the Project.

    Include parents?

The biology teachers in Germany have discussed the topic. Students very soon realise that their breakfast habits are not very healthy and could be optimized by adding fruits or other drinks instead of coke or giving money to buy s.th. for the break in school.
In my opinion parents should be also informed e.g. with a flyer about healthy food when asking for permission that their children are allowed to work in the TS. Sometimes parents should be a better role model - to say the truth;-)

Parents in a project about Breakfast?

Involving parents in a project about breakfast is a good way to raise awareness about the importance of having healthy habits and good nutrition, especially when sometimes we can see in surveys that many children do not perform such an important meal to have a good performance throughout the day, as it is breakfast.
