Within the scope of Unesco World Heritage, Portugal created an online storybook about the heritage city of Angra do Heroísmo, highlighting in the book essential points of a visit to our city.
EBIFFD students have the privilege of being able to enjoy the beauty of the city and its monuments. The purpose of the book is to promote tourism, based on the study visit that students made to the city, with the help of the guide Luis Maciel, professor of history at our school.
In addition to the visit, the students were able to taste the typical sweet of Terceira, Dona Amélia, made at home with all the traditional tricks by professor Benvinda Mendonça. Teacher Luis also explained the ingredients that make up the sweet and their respective origins, allowing students to see the central location that the Azorean archipelago has namely between Europe, America and Africa.
