    AUSTRIA: Latin letters

    We used the keywords of the project and colored them with our handprints.
    Therefore we used acryl color and paper.

    AUSTRIA: Armaments of ancient times

    We produces our own weapons, swords and helmets.
    now we can dress up and play with it. We have already performed a dance wearing this disguise.

    Ancient helmets

    Our self-made helmets are made of cardboard and paper.

    Ancient Crown

    We made crowns based on the model of the ancient imperators. We wear them in school on our birthday so that we can celebrate the special day and everyone knows who is the birthday child.

    Collosseum

    The buildings of ancient times are particularly impressive. We built collossi with small bricks.

    Bulla amulett

    The Romans adopted from the Etruscans to put a bulla around a child's cavity to protect it from magic, especially the evil eye, with an amulet in its cavity. We produced our own bulla amuletts mady by paper.

    masks

    Happy and sad masks were already used for acting in old Greece. In Austria carnival period starts on the 11th of November.
    The children tried to make ancient masks for carnival in Austria.

    Greek Christmas balls

    Different greek ornaments were shown to the pupils and they tried to draw different patterns. Afterwards some kids decorated there christmas balls with greek ornaments. They used waterproofed pens.

    Birthday calendar – Romans and Greeks

    The pupils created a Greek and roman birthday calender. The girls drew greek goddesses and the boys roman soldiers. Afterwards they all wrote their names and dates of birth on their drawings.

    Architecture

    Our little builders tried to rebuild ancient architecture.
    One of the most famous buildings is the acropolis in Athens.

    Tic-Tac-Toe/Tris

    The game Tris – now called Tic-Tac-Toe – was one of the easiest board games in ancient Rome.
    Our pupils enjoyed making the game and had a lot of fun playing with it.

    ITALY- Ancient handicraft: gift for the European partner

    Organization of various workshops for the creation of products to be given as gifts to European partners during which they were created: bookmarks and magnets depicting the main Roman finds in Anzio, some laurel wreaths using and cards accompanied by instructions to be able to make others, ancient board game (like tic-tac-toe), postcards, coins, medals, board game "The Cards of Olympus" and board game on Roman numerals

    A practical workshop that allowed children to enter history directly, creating clothes, headdresses and jewels, finally trying them on themselves.

    ITALY - Mini educational robotics course - Part1

    Activities inspired by the course “Implementing new media and robotic with @ncient times” attended during the 1st meeting in Austria.
    The activities were divided in two step:
    1. Unplugged coding - Children use the command cards (start, go, forward, turn right, turn left), to program a robot (played by a child) that have to reach a goal: reaching out to clothing inserted inside a grid drawn on a floor and dressing as ancient Roman.

    . Educational robotics - The teacher reinforces the learned concepts, increasing the learning experience using the mTiny robot. In order to complete the mission, the robot must reach clothes in the correct sequence and dressing as ancient Roman.
