    User training

    Throughout the 1st period, all classes in the 5th year participated in sessions where they learned about the potential of the school library blog, not only as a channel for disseminating activities and the work developed and interacting with the educational community, but also as a tool to support the curriculum / study and occupation of leisure time.

    “IV Seminar on Equity and Inclusion Potentialities of the Erasmus + Program

    On the 29th of November, the school psychologists of our group, Amélia Areias and Vera Areal, participated in the “IV Seminar on Equity and Inclusion Potentialities of the Erasmus + Program that took place at the Thália theater in Lisbon.
    This initiative of the Erasmus + program aimed to present programs of excellence within the scope of inclusion in various contexts, including the educational one.

    “Reading Pleasure” | Literary Soiree

    The initiative, which arises within the scope of the activities of the Portuguese subject area and the Erasmus + project, will include the sharing of readings made by the students, throughout the year, musical moments and the presentation of the Erasmus + Projects.

    Reading Week 2020

    ALWAYS READ! READ ANYWHERE!
    It is subordinated to this motto, and with the objective of celebrating reading, the book and the reader, which will start the activities of the READING WEEK tomorrow.
    Meetings with writers, reading animation sessions, “Everyone reading | 45 minutes to go! ” (for 45 minutes, students, teachers and assistants of the schools of the Group, will be concentrated to read the favorite book, magazine or newspaper of the day), poetry recitation, conversations around the book and reading, exhibitions of works related to the projects of reading in progress, campaign and election of “book + cool”… here are some of the activities that will be carried out in our Grouping.

    Safer Internet Day

    To mark Safer Internet Day, as part of a partnership with the school library, the ICT teachers proposed to students in the 5th year to carry out the “N @ vega Seguro” activity, which consisted of creating a tip for use the Internet safely.
    They started by exploring the Seguranet website and recording the tips. Then they created their avatar, using Avatar Maker, and finalized the tip using a word processing application.
    After the work was finished, it was time to post the tips in the school places most frequented by the students.

    Magazine "POETA" | launch

    The school library shares with the whole community the 1st Edition of the Magazine "POETA", carried out in the context of the work developed by the Journalism Club of the António Correia de Oliveira Basic School.

    The Journalism Club was in the field gathering documentation on the subjects to be addressed, to interview, to photograph, to produce content on the topics to be addressed, to establish contacts with the privileged partners of this edition and, finally, to edit and take care of the design of the magazine.

    Education Forum 2019

    In an initiative of the Municipality of Esposende promoted, from May 24 to June 4, 2019, another edition of the Education Forum, under the theme "Success: conceptions, challenges and paths". The António Correia de Oliveira School was represented in the panel of speakers by Teacher Teresa Felicio, belonging to the school's management. In this panel " A school of all and for all were presented various initiatives and activities that foster school success, namely erasmus projects.

    Final party of the academic year 2019

    At the end of the school year, several activities were presented, in order to show and publicize the various initiatives that the António Correia de Oliveira School develops, namely those of the Erasmus projects and also with printed materials, promotional screens and information leaflets.

    Europe Day | May 9

    In the year that marks the 35th anniversary of Portugal joining the European project, our school joined in the celebrations of Europe Day, with some initiatives promoted by geography teachers and teachers responsible for Eramus+ projects .

    Meeting with writer José Barroco

    On December 10th, the school library received the writer José Barroco, author of the book Benedita Catita e Sebastião Zangão, who was in conversation with students from the 3rd and 4th years of the EB in Esposende. This initiative is part of the Erasmus+ projects being implemented at the school.

    "Kids to Vote"

    Until the 9th of April, students from the 2nd and 3rd Cycles of EB António Correia de Oliveira will campaign, together with their colleagues and the rest of the school community, defending the books they have read, and calling for a vote on the one they like the most. , on April 13, the date of the election.

    Erasmus Days 2020

    The António Correia de Oliveira Basic School joins the European initiative #Erasmusdays aimed at promoting the Erasmus+ programme around the world and giving visibility to the activities organised by the beneficiaries of the programme.

    There are three days of celebration, sharing of experiences, promotion and appreciation of the benefits that Europe offers through the Erasmus+ programme, in a real dynamic at European level.
