    Here there are our pictures of the meeting with Zeliha's students on Monday 14th January 2019: we had a problem with the audio, so we had to write answers and questions on my mobile phone ... but everything went right and then we could play our Mystery Hangout: nice to meet you!!!

    We had our last 'Mystery Hangout' meeting with Anna Del Toe's students from Italy.The experience for my students was great.

    On December 17th  the Italian students from Campobasso met their partners from Turkey (Hande's students) and then those from Serbia. What a fantastic experience!

    On December 18th we met the students from Turkey (Zelihia). Another exciting experience!

    On Dec 18 we first met our Italian partner.It was a great experience for the students.Italy won the game :)(Alis Konakçı ,Zeliha Çiçek)

    Serbia vs Turkey

    Our first meeting took place on 13 December with Hande's class. Even if the internet connection was poor, we enjoyed it very much. The result of the meeting: Turkey won!

    Serbia vs Italy

    We met both of our Italian partners on 17 December. It was a special day for us as we won both games.

    We met our Serbian partners, it was the first experience for my students, so it was very speacial :)

  • Getting ready for the meetings

    Vocabulary practice

    We prepared for the meetings by learning and rivising the countries' names, practicing yes/no questions, continents, seas and oceans, etc. The best part was when we played Quizlet Live. (Natalia, Serbia)

    Preparation for 'Mystery Hangout Meeting'

    Ss. studied quizlet activities and played plickers game .Our Social Studies lesson teacher Selçuk Osmanoğlu dedicated one of his lessons to teach continents,countries,seas etc.( Zeliha ÇİÇEK,Alis KONAKÇI,Turkey)

    Learning vocabulary

    We got ready for the Mystery Skype working in small groups of experts (jigsaw) that learned the names of the countries, seas and oceans and simulated the game asking yes/no questions.

    Getting ready for the mystery meetings

    Students studied on the link and try to learn the locations of the countries, seas, etc. We enjoyed the rehearsal part- they picked up a country and asked questions to themselves to find out what they are from. ( Hande, Turkey)
