    Golden Eagle Snatches Kid in Montreal!

    The video shows a golden eagle grabbing a small child in its talons and flying away. Most of the media sources initially reported on the video as fact. Actually, this is a video created by three Montreal animation students in 2012 as a class project. We can understand that the video is a hoax when we learn about the maximum weight an eagle can carry.

    A Wolf in Olympic Village!

    The video shows a wolf prowling in a hallway of a building and it was claimed that, the hallway was in athletes' village in Sochi. Actually it was prank of TV talk show host, Jimmy Kimmel. After all the news organizations and social media jumped on that story, the famous talk show host told the truth behind it.

    Olympic Games is one of the most important events and Olympic villages are always crowded with athletes. Wolves stay away from crowded places and hunt in packs. Also the place where Olympic Village was located was not in a rural area which might attracts wolves.

    A Ghost Ship Infested With Cannibal Rats Threatens the UK!

    This fake news is also among the made up stories which you might read on social media. The exaggerated detail about the cannibal rats must make us suspicious, because cannibal rats do not exist in real life. Like the cannibal rats, ghost don't exist in real life.

    Workers at Doritos Factory Diognased With Ebola!!!

    Doritos workers never diognased with ebola virus or any other diseases. In this tweet the CNN logo was used but the account wasn't an official CNN account. We can't see the confirmation sign showing that the account is an official one.

    Former Ukrainian President's Golden Toilet!

    This was not former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych's toilet.

    McDonald's Removing the Big Mac!

    Don't worry! The Big Mac will definitely be in the menu. It is just a rumour. The tweet has the logo of McDonalds but the account is not an approved official account.

    This is also a photoshop hoax. We van understand that it is a made up photo from the vivid colors of the rainbow which seem too artificial. The colours were carefully blended by photoshop. Also from the airplane we can't picture the rainbow like in this photo.

    The picture looks suspicious as it has some signs of photoshop. Also the UFO detail is too vogue and manipulating.

    Steven Spielberg Hunted a Triceratops!

    This is not a joke – Facebook users riot over an image of the director on the set of Jurassic Park Spielberg, but he did not actually kill a dinosaur. The photo was from Jurassic Park film set. The image has been shared over 33,000 times attracting thousands of comments, initially from misinformed users. We know that dinosaurs are no longer exist so this photo can't belong to a real Triceratops.

    Popular YouTubers 'Yes Theory' pranked the internet with this fake photo.
    This is a fake news, because the photo isn't clear and he can be any person sitting on a bench and eating.

    Fake news that promotes racist ideas

    In 2017, this photo was published on the web by an anti-immigration group. People were angry to see a bus full of veiled women.

    But these aren’t veiled women. If you take a few seconds to look at the picture carefully, you’ll see that in reality, they are empty bus seats!

    This fake news was spread by local people living in Van Lake area. They spread that rumour to attract tourists to the area.

    This photo of an overcrowded ship has been misused all over social media recently. But in reality, this photo was taken in 1991 and it shows a ship bringing 20,000 Albanian migrants to the Italian port of Bari. But the photo was published like it is a new event.
