Wednesday

  • The day was dedicated to the documentation trip to Thessaloniki and Vergina, to the kingdom of one of the emblematic Greeks, Alexander the Great. The Erasmus teams visited the Royal Tombs of Philip, Alexander’s father and Alexander’s son. The guide explained in detail the historical facts and the history of Macedonia in relation to the other Greek kingdoms. After Vergina, the delegations visited Thessaloniki, the capital of modern Macedonia. They were taken on a tour to the most important sites (the White Tower, Saint Demetrios Church) and tasted the local cuisine.
