    Activity Type: Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils.

    Activity title: Teaching and Learning in Mixed- Ability and Multiple Intelligence classes.

    Data:  April 2019. 

    Description: Welcoming meeting - whole school community will welcome the visitors. Coordinator and the appointed people will make the presentation of school base.Teachers attending the visit will provide some classroom activities for students of the host school. During our visit, titled “Teaching and Learning in Mixed-Ability and Multiple-Intelligence Classes” the following objectives will be reached: Exchange of educational/teaching practices; Promote inclusion; Exploit the potential of every single student in the class; Improve self-awareness and self-esteem (be aware of one’s own potential/ emotions/ wishes/ interests, accept one’s own weaknesses); Foster sense of responsibility in the
    students; Be able to use nonverbal communication effectively; Form a cohesive team; Develop social competence through cooperative learning,
    tutoring, drama, social stories, games, problem solving competitions; Explore Italian culture.

    Outcomes: E-Folio of inclusive activities for students: a list of workshops for mixed groups of students. Each workshop might be described in detail, with
    objectives, target group, steps, methods and tools.
    The E-Folio could be published both on the project blog and on the website.
    For teachers: Presentation of the Italian Model of Inclusion;
    The concept of Integration vs Inclusion. Presentation of inclusive methodology, to meet the most diverse educational needs: the integration of special educational practices with the ordinary curriculum.
    Case studies: some examples of successful teaching work with disabled students in our school.
