Virtual Christmas meetings

On 15th and 16th December 2020 were organized two on-line conferences and activities by Erasmus plus C.H.A.N.G.E. project’s participants. Despite the prevailing pandemic, the project is still implemented, all planned activities, events moved to the Internet space. Thanks to the possibilities offered by the Internet and the Zoom application, two meetings with students and teachers involved in the project were held. SOSW students met in three school buildings, while students and teachers from schools from Greece, Italy, Romania, Turkey and Lithuania, joined us from their houses.

The theme of the meeting was Christmas and related traditions, decorations, dishes and customs in individual countries. Students showed presentations of the most liked holidays of the year as well as prepared simple Christmas decorations, cards, and sang songs. We played Christmas bingo and matched puzzels.

Thanks to the conferences, we could see differences in the celebration of Christmas, but what’s more important we got to know how many traditions and customs we have in common. We could be together and we could forget about the "lockdown" , pandemic and the virus.
