    Collaboration to Have Abilities as New Goals of Education C.H.A.N.G.E.

    ABOUT THE PROJECT

    This project is focused on special needs students. Fundamental pillar on which our project is supported is the exchange of good practices in educating SEN students. This project will implement the erasmus + program, which will expand education and training systems that will benefit students with special needs, We want to change our schools and make them more open and ready for innovations and new teaching methods. The main priorities of the project are as follows: promoting the acquisition of skills and competences and strengthening the profile(s) of the teaching profession.

    AIMS

    Acquire and introduce new therapies and teaching strategies to reduce disparities in learning outcomes affecting disadvantaged learners. Learn and introduce educational programmes focusing on the solution of students'emotional and behavioural problems. Enhance and stimulate all the abilities of children with special needs – cognitive, language, psychomotor, social adaptive skills. We want our students to master six KEY competences,developing their social and practical skills and participating in workshops and vocational internships.Set up new vocational training for moderate mentally disabled students. The so-called “soft skills”will be taught, since we believe that this topic is a fundamental one for their future of workers in the community.Develop students’ and teachers’ communication and ICT skills. Promote the internationalization of our schools and raise awareness of the importance of Europe's cultural heritage in our educational communities.

    WORK PROCESS

    The project will be implemented for two years. We will use twinspace for communication, collaboration and project publicity. During the scheduled meetings we will have an opportunity to work in classes, meet to train in a range of approaches to apply inclusive education, we will learn and share good practices and implement relevant ideas. We have planned to create and share teaching plans with the activities to introduce in our schools.We will get acquainted and practically try: E-Folio and PECS methods. Workshop study for students: Cookery, Handicrafts. Painting, music, sports and information technology activities. Activities for socializing with each other through games, dances and drama. Kinetotherapy and speech therapy sessions. Polysensory stimulation and ludotherapy activities. Horse- therapy, sand and light therapy activities. Shadow theatre. Culturel visits.

    EXPECTED RESULTS

    Teachers will develop new knowledge and and new abilities. They will have the opportunity to apply new teaching methods and techniques in their schools. Educational content enriched with new methods and techniques will contribute to the development of SEN students more and will help them to use their capacities better. With the exchange of programs, cultural interaction will be ensured and participants' language skills are expected to improve.
