Activity title: Working together towards an easier future for SEN students.

Description: Getting to know you – a welcoming meeting:
- the whole school community will welcome the visitors;
- the coordinator and the people involved in will make the presentation of school base;
- it will follow a presentation to the teaching staff about our school system and the way we organise the teaching and learning while the students
coming in mobility will work welcoming greeting along with a group of host people;
- PowerPoint presentation with sequences of activities in our school;
- learning together traditional Romanian folk dances - the Romanian hora – That’s the big hora
We can do it together – participating in lessons and art therapy activities:
- involving in methodical lessons at different disciplines such as English, Geography, History, Romanian, Sports, Arts, Music;
- supporting some leisure activities at the lunchtime crafts clubs;
- workshops and activities for students during the training: workshops of manual skills, painting, drawing, making collages, braiding rope, stitching
traditional motifs on canvas, making other items of textile waste;
- teachers attending the visit will provide some classroom activities for students of the host school.
We learn, play and apply together
– observing therapy activities and working simultaneously on:
- individual and group counseling
- kinetotherapy sessions
- speech therapy sessions
- polysensory stimulation activities
- ludotherapy activities
- cookery workshops;
– assisting at an artistic moment with Romanian traditional music, dance and acting plays;
Out and about – a good opportunity of relaxation, but also of knowledge developing;
- organizing a thematic tour to another special school in the mountain area;
- making visits and intercultural exchanges; a sightseeing tour;
- the trip/outings journal - literary, artistic and plastic creations;
- making photo albums and materials, using Power Point presentations;
- impressions exchange activities; what the students saw and impressed them;
Farewell messages
- making greeting cards with messages of farewell;
- learning a familiar song in several languages (ex. If you’re happy and you know it)
- presentation of portfolio activities;
- monitoring the project by taking photos, writing articles and publishing them in our school magazine.
